What a buzz!
In 2017, 128 local businesses took part and connected with 21 big businesses that included Thales, Balfour Beatty, Novo Nordisk, West Sussex County Council and a number of other blue-chip organisations.
Getting down to business
In excess of £700,000 of local business deals will be generated as a result. And hundreds of business connections and relationships were forged.
Helping you get the most out of the day
Nine pre-event seminars were also held across the Gatwick Diamond area, ensuring the local suppliers got the most they could out of the day. National and local government representatives also provided guidance on how to secure contracts with public sector organisations.
The success that is Gatwick Diamond
There’s no doubt that the Gatwick Diamond is one of the most dynamic areas in the country for business. Meet the Buyers plays a big part in contributing to that and last year it once again brought together diverse but exciting businesses who are now doing businesses together and making things happen. We call that a success!
“It’s been excellent to see so many great connections being made between buyers and suppliers today, with lots of positive prospects for business growth…”
Alison Addy, Head of Community Engagement at Gatwick Airport
